Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
Interprofessional patient simulations enable students to learn with, from, and about each other while working together in a safe environment. Research indicates simulation experiences provide an opportunity for students to communicate effectively, apply professional roles, and increase their competency in patient care. Further, the ability to apply IPEC Core Competencies (CCs) in a simulated clinical setting prepares students for collaborative practice.
