Born and raised in northwestern Oklahoma, Kylie received her bachelor’s in social work from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked in the field as a child welfare investigator and domestic violence and sexual assault advocate for a total of five years before attending the University of Oklahoma to receive her master’s in social work in 2020. She joined the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center's IPE team part-time in 2020, and came on board full-time as the IPE Simulation Manager in June of 2021.

Presenting at the Nexus Summit:

The seminar will be a presentation on how to implement a simulation template. The summit theme of interprofessional learning for collaborative practice and education will be addressed by discussing the importance of standardization and replicability in interprofessional education through evidence-based simulation material.
