I served as a Board Member for the Access Health Advisory Board-Greenville, South Carolina, Board of Managers for MyHealth First Network, and now as the Medical Director for Population Health for OU Health Physicians and the Inpatient Medical Director of OU Health – University of Oklahoma Medical Center. Within my positions, I have worked to create care models that place emphasis on equitable care, access to care, interprofessional teamwork and collaborative practice. One such care model that I have helped to implement within our metropolitan healthcare system is a team-based comprehensive screening of social determinants of health and community connectivity.

To address gaps in clinical education between the University of Oklahoma Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy, a novel curriculum was initiated with focus on the exploration of health inequity, community health, health literacy, and social determinants of health (SDoH).
