Mrs. Tubbs is the Director of Lab Operations overseeing the simulation lab and skills lab. She collaborate with all professions within the College of Health and Professional Wellness. She work with students one on one to advance their skill training. Her work in the simulation lab is innovative in collaboration faculty in all professions to develop simulation experiences to enhance the student in their clinical setting. She has been a key part of developing and implementing inter-professional education simulation with Master of Athletic Training, Respiratory Therapy, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Drama.

Simulation is a component of health care education and has provided active learning experiences in a clinical laboratory setting for students for countless years. Utilizing simulators is an evidence-based teaching approach that is widely accepted and incorporated in health care education programs including nursing, advanced practice nursing, respiratory therapy, and athletic training programs.
