Camilla Curren, MD is an Associate Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She is the IPE Champion and Competency Director for the College of Medicine, where she has been involved in interprofessional education for over 10 years. She is also Co-Director of the Part One or Preclinical portion of the OSU College of Medicine Lead.Serve.Inspire Curriculum, and sees internal medicine and pediatrics patients as a part of a multidisciplinary clinical team. Dr. Curren is the recipient of multiple teaching awards.

Presenting at the Nexus Summit:

Building from an existing module, an interprofessional team of faculty, staff and students created a longitudinal, five-part module entitled, “Anti-Racism in Action” involving over 1000 second year learners and 76 facilitators from six Ohio State health sciences colleges. Learning objectives spanned five IPE competencies (Evidence Based Practice, Collaborative Leadership, Interprofessional Communication, Roles and Responsibilities, and Teams and Teamwork).
