Tram Le is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She currently serves as the Student Chair of Unity Clinic, OU’s inter-professional, student-led free medical clinic that serves the underserved and underinsured of Oklahoma City. In utilizing her network of faculty and students across campus, she has helped coordinate hundreds of nursing, pharmacy, medical, dental, public health, social work, and allied health students to advocate for and serve patients through various endeavors, spanning preventive to interventional care. Tram plans to continue pursuing these humbling experiences and championing interprofessional collaboration as a physician and community leader.

The Communities of Practice (CoPs) framework illustrates a method for improving team and team-member experience and outcomes by focusing on shared identity and values and being intentional about inclusion and growth. This framework has been applied to a multitude of disciplines and environments, including healthcare and education.
