Tonya Girard, LMFT, is a Sr. Marital and Family Therapist at the University of Rochester. While co-located at Highland Family Medicine, she provided trauma-informed, patient-centered, and systemic biopsychosocial mental health treatment to underserved populations within her community. Tonya is a Collaborative Care and Wellness Division member at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She is a clinical supervisor and teaches the Family Therapy Practice course at the University of Rochester's Marital and Family Therapy Training Program for students beginning who are launching into clinical practicum.
