Dr. Tiffany Champagne-Langabeer is an Associate Professor at the School of Biomedical Informatics. Dr. Champagne-Langabeer serves as the Co-Director of Interprofessional Education at UTHealth Houston. Dr. Champagne-Langabeer’s past work and educational training has focused in the transformation of healthcare through collaboration and joint venture by managing processes, modifying behaviors, and collecting data for outcomes research. She has taught courses in management and leadership over the past 20 years, and holds both masters and doctoral degrees focused in theories of management and leadership behaviors within healthcare.

Background: Despite the proven effectiveness of medications for opioid use disorder, the US continues to see record numbers of overdose deaths. Health professionals' attitudes towards opioid disorders impact their ability to manage this public challenge.
