Dr. Sean Creech is the Director of the Office of Disability Resources and faculty member in the Department of Social Work at Jacksonville State University. His research and practice are primarily focused on organizational leadership and macro-level practice in communities and policy environments through multi-disciplinary, collaborative work. Through his work as a licensed clinical social worker and educator, Sean strives for social justice, equity, and inclusion, and to inspire others to bring healing, compassion, and justice to marginalized and oppressed populations. His visionary perspectives have earned him opportunities to work on international anti-violence campaigns, legislative advocacy projects, and other social justice initiatives.

Interprofessional Education promotes teamwork and innovation across disciplines to transform the learning experiences across health-care professions. IPE practices were occurring at Jacksonville State University (JSU, Alabama) but were not operationalized to include IPECs core competencies. The last two years, we have developed an intentional plan to implement IPE across the University.
