Sarah Cable graduated in 2018 from the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in product marketing. She moved from Washington to Oklahoma in 2019 and has been with the Office of Interdisciplinary Programs ever since. In her role as Outreach Coordinator, Sarah manages all of the office’s communication platforms and assists in the development, implementation, and sustainability of OUHSC's interdisciplinary programming.

Learner outcomes in interprofessional education are considered to be tied to the expertise and proficiency of the faculty or clinician educator. However, many educators in the traditional health sciences academy are not trained in the methods of evidence-based best practices for interprofessional education.
