Ryan Butler DNP, RN, AHN-BC, CPH, HWNC-BC is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Southern Indiana. She has extensive experience with the management and evaluation of HRSA grants focusing on the design, coordination, and evaluation of interprofessional clinical experiences. Ryan's work centers on preparing students for interprofessional practice and promotes the use of academic-practice partnerships among diverse student teams, practice partners, and patient populations. Her scholarship interests include health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.

Description: This panel, including a student learner from a Midwestern university, will focus on the implementation of an Interprofessional Geriatric Assessment Clinic (IGAC) and its effects on the interprofessional care team. The IGAC brings together students from a variety of professions, including nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and medical residents, to learn from each other and deliver quality patient care.
