Dr. Kobayashi earned an MSW and a Ph.D. at Michigan State University. She joined Eastern Washington University in 2010. Her areas of interest include interprofessional collaboration and education; end of life care; and aging. She has been a part of interprofessional education grants/trainings since 2013 and has co-authored several manuscripts relating to interprofessional education/trainings.

The COVID-19 pandemic dramatically changed the landscape for interprofessional education (IPE) opportunities for health professions students. Like numerous other academic institutions, our team of IPE researchers had to adapt IPE offerings to accommodate an online learning environment.
