Dr. Paticia Earley is an assistant professor at the College of St. Scholastica in the Graduate Nursing Department. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner and has over 10 years experience as an educator. She teaches both didactic and clinical courses. She is currently collaborating with the school of nursing simulation center to explore and integrate simulation opportunities in the graduate curriculum.

Background:Virtual reality (VR) simulation is an educational innovation which has been utilized to increase opportunities for interprofessional education (IPE) experiences by addressing time and location limitations found with face to face IPE activities.
