Dr. Hossain received her medical degree (1995) from the Dhaka University Medical College Hospital. Completing her Internal Medicine Residency at St Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY in 2003, she became an attending physician at Ripon Medical Center, in Wisconsin. She completed Geriatric Medicine fellowship at the University of Michigan in 2007, with an extra year of research fellowship. She joined Henry Ford Health System in 2009 with the Division of Hospital Medicine. During 2013, Dr. Hossain moved to Richmond, VA with the VCU Division of Geriatric Medicine as Assistant Professor. She is currently board certified in Internal and Geriatric Medicine.
