Dr. Key-Solle is a pediatric hospitalist and clinician-educator with particular interests in medical education and improvement science. Recognizing that the patient experience is heavily intertwined with health team function and communication at every level, she has embraced interprofessional education and collaboration as a means of supporting patient/family-centered care in our quest to build diverse, equitable, and safe health care systems. In teaching learners and caring for patients, Dr. Key-Solle is driven by sharing what she learns with others, helping to make difficult concepts or experiences more approachable, thereby making our work more meaningful and impactful

A description of the seminar: Advancing interprofessional education for pre-licensure learners and healthcare providers is dependent upon educational programming designed by interprofessional teams. This seminar will describe one institution’s approach to designing, implementing, and evaluating a continuing interprofessional education program for educators who supervise learning in clinical settings.
