Dr. Marian Wilson is a registered nurse and associate professor at Washington State University College of Nursing. She is certified in pain management nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Society for Pain Management Nursing. She has been funded through the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the National Institute of Health’s Center for Complementary and Integrative Heath (NCCIH) studying pain and opioid use. Many of her 70+ peer-reviewed publications focus on engaging adults in pain self-management and reducing opioid risks.

The COVID-19 pandemic dramatically changed the landscape for interprofessional education (IPE) opportunities for health professions students.
