Lisa Pierce is the Vice President of Advanced Practice at OSF HealthCare in Peoria, Illinois. Lisa graduated from Rush University in Chicago, IL with a Masters in Acute and Chronic Care Pediatrics in 2009, and earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Systems Leadership from Rush in 2016. She has worked her NP career at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois in critical care and transitional care. In 2016, she created the first APP fellowship at OSF HealthCare, which has been accredited with distinction by the ANCC's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs in 2017 and 2021.

One post graduate transition-to-practice program for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Physician Assistants (PAs), also known as Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship, utilized a collaborative approach with local and system community leaders to enhance interprofessional training and improve health equity in rural and medically underserved areas through the use of mobile health clinics.
