Dr. Kristyn Williamson is a teaching specialist in the Pharmacy Learning Collaborative where she teaches undergraduate, graduate, nursing, and pharmacy students through distance learning methods. Dr. Williamson is an ambulatory care pharmacist practicing in family medicine at MHealth Fairview - Smiley's clinic. She is a clinical preceptor and site coordinator for the PGY-1 Pharmaceutical Care Leadership residency program, as well as faculty at the University of Minnesota Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program.

Background: Interprofessional collaboration between dentistry and pharmacy has great value but is often lacking in education, particularly in dental hygiene programs. Interprofessional education activity: A case-based interprofessional assignment was implemented into the dental hygiene curriculum.
