Ms. Valenti has been with Nova Southeastern University’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (KPCOM) for ten years. Before her role in medical education, Ms. Valenti worked for the KPCOM Office of Innovation and Research writing grants while working on interprofessional initiatives with the Center for Interprofessional Education and Practice (CIPEP). She serves as the Program Director for the Master of Science in Medical Education and the Director of Interprofessional Education for KPCOM. In addition, Ms. Valenti holds a leadership position, alongside Dr. Elizabeth Swann, for the NSU-HPD CIPEP, housed under the HPD Department of Educational Development.

Nova Southeastern University (NSU), like many others, has experienced the need to shift our curricular activities to a virtual format in the wake of a global pandemic. This includes the ability to offer our learners meaningful interprofessional experiences when they are unable to connect in a physical space.
