Dr. Kimberly A. Indovina, MD, FACP, FHM is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and a practicing hospitalist and palliative medicine physician at Denver Health Medical Center. She serves as an Assistant Director of the CU Center for Interprofessional Practice & Education, and represents the School of Medicine on the CU IPE Council. In addition to interprofessional education and collaboration, her academic interests include patient experience, palliative medicine, and inpatient quality improvement.

Integrating Real Time Feedback for Quality Improvement: Learning from the Past to Improve the Future
The pandemic served as a catalyst for the CU Longitudinal Interprofessional Education (IPE) and Practice program to reexamine our curricular content and to adapt our teaching methodologies, pedagogies, and delivery modes. The IPE program consists of two courses where learners work in interprofessional teams to complete coursework related to team development, quality improvement, health equity and social determinants of health, and values/ethics.
