José Rodrigues Freire Filho is a pharmacist with a PhD in interprofessional education. He is a researcher and professor at the Department of Social Medicine in the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP), Brazil. He is a founding member of the Regional Network for Interprofessional Education in the Americas (REIP). His experience incorporates leadership and management of IPECP policy development, as well as strategic activities, such as IPE faculty development and IPECP research and training.
