Janice Neumann, BFA, Clinical Training Coordinator, has been with Northwest Missouri AHEC since June 2007. She coordinates clinical rotations and other clinical training opportunities in northwest Missouri for medical students from A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, University of Missouri-Columbia, University of Missouri-Kansas City and Kansas City University.

o Background: Interprofessional education (IPE) is critical to preparing health professions (IP) students to be effective members of the healthcare workforce. Missouri AHEC (MAHEC) offers AHEC-affiliated HP students several interprofessional (IP) programs, utilizing a combination of didactics, experiential training and clinical exposure in rural and underserved settings.
