Jacqueline Devereaux, MA, is a SAME/FAME Family Educator, and an original member of the SAME/FAME Steering Committee. She has an adult daughter on the autism spectrum. She has advocated for people with disabilities for more than 40 years. She serves on the board of directors for Oklahoma Parents Network and is a member of the Family Leadership Network, as well as a Family Mentor for the CLL Family Mentorship Program, which mentors students in the OKLEND program. She is also the current co-chair for the CLL/UCEDD and Oklahoma LEND Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC).

Presenting at the Nexus Summit:

In this seminar, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a unique interactive model of a community-engaged simulation training, co-presented by Self-Advocate and Family Advocate Educators. Following the simulation, attendees will participate in interactive discussion and reflection on expanding patient-family-community engagement in preservice/continuing education work on developmental disabilities.
