Erin Clinard, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, CHSE is an Assistant Professor and the Coordinator of the Online Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at James Madison University. She holds a Ph.D. in speech-language pathology specializing in pediatric neurodevelopment and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). Erin has practiced as an SLP in acute care, neonatal intensive care units, not-for-profit clinics, university clinics, and public schools for over 18 years. She publishes and presents nationally in the areas of innovative approaches to clinical education, simulation-based learning, and interprofessional education.
