Erika Brechtelsbauer, PharmD, BCPS is the Director of Scientific Strategy for Cardiometabolic Medicine at Clinical Education Alliance. She received her BA in Biology from the University of Virginia and her Doctor of Pharmacy from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy. She is residency trained and board certified in pharmacotherapy. In her previous role as as a clinical pharmacy specialist, she provided clinical pharmacy services to adult internal medicine teaching teams, precepted pharmacy students, led quality improvement projects, and developed educational materials for both pharmacists and other healthcare providers at an academic medical center.
