Diana Davis received her BA degree in occupational therapy from Western Michigan University and Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Education from West Virginia University. Her experience includes working as an occupational therapist for over 30 years serving clients with brain injuries and educating students for over 20years. She is currently an associate professor in the Division of Occupational Therapy at West Virginia University. Her research interests include return to occupational performance and participation following brain injury and interprofessional education in rehabilitation of individuals experiencing a TBI. Background Physical and Occupational Therapy students consistently find it difficult to function in acute care settings due to the critical nature of patients, the need for teamwork and communication, and quick decision making required to treat the patient effectively and safely.
