Bernadette Cornelison, PharmD, MS, BCPS, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy. She chairs the Introduction to Interprofessional Education Program and served as the facilitator for the COVID19 Pandemic Interprofessional Event. Under a collaborative practice agreement, she provides services to underserved patients at a Family Medicine Clinic in Tucson, Arizona. She is the clinic pharmacist on a team of 28 medical residents, 12 attending physicians, a psychologist, therapists, a psychiatrist, nurses, and medical assistants. She is the preceptor for PGY2 Family Practice pharmacy residents and pharmacy students.

This Lightning Talk describes how in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 14th annual Pandemic Interprofessional Education (IPE) exercise was refocused from an in-person session about an imaginary statewide influenza pandemic; to an online synchronous platform, with students learning from each other and experts about the necessity of interprofessional collaboration.
