Amber Teigen, MMS, PA-C is the Associate Program Director and Assistant Professor for the Department of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is also certified as an IPE Master Faculty Facilitator, a Koru Mindfulness instructor, and is on the pathway for certification as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher. She facilitates multiple IPE events and teaches several mindfulness courses throughout the academic year. She is expected to graduate with a Doctor of Medical Science in August 2022 and will obtain her Lifestyle Medicine certification.

Lifestyle Medicine (LM) infuses interventions within six pillars (whole-food/plant-predominant diet, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances, positive social connection) to prevent, treat and reverse chronic disease.
