Dr. Allon Goldberg, PT PhD, serves as Associate Dean for Research in the College of Health Sciences, at the University of Michigan-Flint. He is a physical therapist, and is the Director of the Center on Aging on the University of Michigan – Flint campus. He has served on the University of Michigan Center for Interprofessional Education Executive Committee, and was co-chair of the Interprofessional Education Ad Hoc Administrative Advisory Group on Anti-Racism. He also serves on the National Poll on Healthy Aging Advisory Board. His research focuses on balance, mobility, falls and genetic factors with aging.

In the summer of 2020, the University of Michigan’s Health Science Council of Deans (HSC) and Center for Interprofessional Education (C-IPE) were united by a desire to collectively address health inequities in society. The HSC charged the C-IPE to bring together dean-appointed diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) leads from 9 of our 10 health science schools, as well as students, patients, and DEI experts to lead the first stage of this effort.
