Dr Alla El-Awaisi is an experienced Academic administrator possessing creativity, innovation, and dedication to her field. She has been a very active member of the College of Pharmacy Academic Administration team being the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the College of Pharmacy since 2014. Currently, she is the Director for Clinical Operations and Engagement at QU Health in Qatar University and the Chair of the Interprofessional Education Committee and has been leading successful IPE initiatives locally and internationally. She is the Chairperson of the next All Together Better Health Conference to be held in Qatar in November 2023. She won many awards related to her research and leadership. Her research expertise lies in the area of interprofessional education, collaborative practice, pharmacy/ medical education, pharmacy practice, student leadership, and patient safety, and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Despite the increasing emphasis on interprofessional education (IPE) in curricula and the potential benefits for student learning, there appears to be a lack of evidence directing authentic and accurate assessment of student-learning outcomes and translation of assessment data into scores and grades.
